Overbite

Overbite occurs when the upper front teeth protrude over the lower front teeth. Often you cannot see the lower teeth due to the overlapping structure of the upper teeth. Overbite can be caused by an over eruption of the front teeth or lack in development of the bone that supports the teeth and can also be known as a deep bite. It is important to note that overbites do not refer to a specific condition or are a malocclusion unless the condition is an extreme case.
